Tiger Tail 64' 60 Size Laser Cut Short Kit
Another classic pattern ship, the Tiger Tail 64" 60 size was a two times USA Nationals winner originally designed in 1973 by Ron Chidgey.
To quote the designer, "The Tiger Tail is a completely honest airplane. Honest! I have built six of them over the past two years, one with fixed gear, and they have all flown almost identically, being completely predictable in their flying characteristics. I think this thing of 'honesty' or 'predictability' is the single most important factor a competition airplane can bring to the party."
The original Tiger Tail plan was drawn around a foam core wing. We have re-engineered the wing into a built up balsa wing that anyone can construct with standard tools, and drawn a new plan to compliment the built up wing.
We do production runs daily, so any kitset will generally ship within 1 to 2 working days.
